What is WhichModel?

WhichModel is a web-based interactive tool for giving specific support to the study of the discriminative classification power of custom hypothesis in the form of biological relevant gene sets. Provided with a straightforward and intuitive interface, WhichModel is able to render valuable information for diagnostic analyses and clinical management decisions based on systematically evaluating custom hypothesis over different data sets using complementary classifiers, a key aspect in clinical research.

WhichModel's features

  • Upload, store and manage different gene sets collections and microarray data files.
  • Several configurable classification techniques, including Naïve Bayes, J48, K-NN (K-nearest neighbours) and SVM (Support Vector Machines).
  • User-friendly 2-step wizard to create experiments.
  • Experiments are able to run in parallel in our server.
  • E-mail notifications, containing a direct link to the results stored in the server.

WhichGenes integration

WhichModel application is interconnected with our previous successful WhichGenes server, a web-based gene set building tool able to automatically construct always-updated gene lists form multiple databases and unstructured biological data sources.
